  • You appear to  be using Windows live mail to access your mail.  You got an email from Microsoft explaining thea at the end of June it will no longer work as "delta"sync" is being replaced.  If you do not need to sync  your calendar & contacts you can re-configure WLM using IMAP and your mail will continue to work.  If you do use calendar & contacts there is a good alternative

There is a great replacement for Windows live mail that is free for personal use (up to 2 accounts) that DOES work with the new outlook mail format called emclient.  There is also a paid version. You can get either here

It works with Exchange, POP, IMAP, and looks similar to Windows live mail.  Frankly it is the first replacement I have seen that actually works.  I have switched.

They have their own support forums, a decent product, and seem to be the only replacement for WLM that has the look and feel of it.

You can import all your windows live mail into emclient easily by doing a file>import>windows live mail.  This will import your current WLM data into emclient

Out of an abundance of caution I would make a copy of the entire WLM folder and save it to a safe location.

  • Hi snscheepers,

According to your description, the error codes indicate that your Outlook.com account has been upgraded to the new version. Please sign into the account at http://mail.live.com; you should see something like the Outlook Mail banner shown here in the top left-hand corner of the window.

This means that you couldn’t use DeltaSync to access this account any more. You don't have much choice at the moment. You'll find instructions for setting up the account to use IMAP instead on this page.

Please check the link below to follow the steps.

If you sign in in Windows Live Mail with this account, you'll find that neither the calendar nor contacts will synchronize any more.

I suggest that we could try to remove and reconfigure your Email account on Windows Live Mail and check if the issue get resolved.

Hope it will be helpful to you
