"My Regional Settings" unavailalbe RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

SharePoint 2007 My Regional Settings is not available and several users would like to change the default time zone.

How do I make sure My Regional Settings is available to all users?

    Thx,

  • Please check the permission for the user. If the user does not have the Edit Personal User Information permission in any of the permission levels he/she has been assigned, the My Regional Settings will not be available.

  • Hello and thanks for the info.

I'm not a full time SharePoint Admin and I'm not sure where I should make the change. Where do I check for the users permissions, at what level?

Also, do I need to do this from the MOSS server using Central Administration or from the Portal Site the user is a part of.

    Thx,

  • OK I found out how to do it using the initial information you provided and the following link helped with the actual steps required for anyone else who need to know how.
