Help with Permissions - allowing others to see my projects RRS feed

  • Question

  • We are using Project 365 online and I have full control.  The rest of the crew just has access to upload and manipulates schedules.  However - they can't see anyone else's but their own.  How do I enable them to view other's schedules?  I can see everyone's as I have full control

  • Which permission mode are you using? SharePoint or Project Server?

  • Hi,

If you are using Project Server security mode you would have to play the security categories for allowing users to be able to see team or each other's projects if they are not suppose to see the whole Organization.

Again as Parsana asked which permission mode are you using and what is the model that you are implementing for project visibility ?

    Faizan.

  • If using the standard SharePoint permissions mode, share the PWA site with them and when doing so click on show options.  Choose the appropriate group (eg Portfolio viewers).  The following screen shot should help.

If using Project Server permissions mode, add the users to the Executives Group.
