DPM 2010 agents Access Denied. RRS feed

  • Hi Pros,

We found the following error message from DPMRA on all of the servers in an untrusted domain (it worked without problems for months).

This error occurs several times a day, but I'm able to backup those servers... Sometimes (when the DPM backup scheduled and in progress) the backup cannot be done on these servers, but sometimes it is possible. If I check the DPM console and I perform a Consistency check on the failed server, the backup succeeded.

So how can it be an Access Denied problem, if I'm able to backup those servers with DPM? Sometime Access denied, sometimes not? I don't think so.

I checked the event log on the DPM server and there are a lot of DCOM errors.

Can you give me some tips about where should I start the troubleshooting?

    Thanks for any help,

    Dvijne
