  You should check in site and services to see if the subnet where exchange redise is accosiated with a site that contains writable DC.

  Is your exhcange is working as DC to? This issue is because of when exchange services are coming up - at the point not able to find topology.

  if exchange is on DC, It is expected to get these kind of warnings, and if not then please try disabling antivirus and other third party services on exchange for a test.

  other than than you can select option to delay start of services of exchange IS.

  Are you able to wait some time and then manually start the services thereafter or will the services not start at all?

  I am able to wait for the server to be fully up and running and manually start the IS.  For a while the IS and System Attendant wouldn't start.  The SA has been starting automatically.

  The problem I had the other night was the the windows updates rebooted the server in the middle of the night so when I woke up the next morning I had a text from a user saying that the email server must be down.  Soon as I log in and open Services I can see right away that the IS service is not running.

  Sounds to me like with a timing issue OR your Ad or PDC has come issues.  Have you run any health checks on your PDC and AD?

  Thanks Troy,

  I will give those a shot.  I had to work out some AD and Group Policy problems first.  This is my next step as well as some DNS issues I think I'm having.
