ProClarity Dashboard with SSRS RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I am creating a Dasboard with a URL to a report done in SSRS, there is the option of the report appearing in the dashboard without the Report Manager?, I see only the report without the toolbars of ReportManager.

Note: there is any site or book on ProClarity 6.3 that you can give?

    Thanks,

  • It is possible to put a SSRS report on the dashboard.  The dashboard lets you configure portlets to load an external URL.

You can find the URL of your reporting services report by going to http://[REPORTING SERVER NAME]/ReportServer and browsing to your report.  Copy the URL of the report once you find it into the external URL field when configuring the dashboard portlet.

  • Hi Rafael,

There isn't any way that I am aware of to bring an SSRS report into the Dashboard.  The Dashboard is a conduit for displaying the ProClarity Anlaytics Server views and was not designed to display reports from other applications, although as you have found you can configure links to them.  I would recommend the trainings located at this URL:

    http://www.microsoft.com/bi/products/proclarity/proclarity-training.aspx

And please post any questions that you have here as we like answering them!

    Hope this helps,
