How to remove datasources from Power Query? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I know I can go to "options and settings/datasource settings" where I can delete them one at a time. Where on the file system can I find and delete these?

  • Could you share more context of the scenario you want to achieve? Direct handling of internal files that are used by Power Query are not officially supported. If you need to delete multiple data sources, and the single selection is tedious, we plan to address it soon, and it is already supported in the latest Power BI Desktop.

  • Thanks Gil. No urgency. How is it supported in Desktop? Will Power Query be addressed similarly?

  • You can see a screenshot of the new experience in the blog post here. There is a Delete All button. You will find the same experience in Power Query in one of the future updates of the Add-in and Excel 2016.
