Exchange Server 2013 | After Change IP address we can't connect exchange to exchange RRS feed

  • Hi,

    We have two exchange server 2013 std with dag. and we changed IP address for network purpose. but after changing IP address, we facing problem with old IP. because when we try to ping ex02 from ex01 then its showing old IP address and ping loss. and exchange to exchange can't communicated.

  • It could be that DNS isn't updating, which you can test with NSLOOKUP.

    It could be that the old DNS entry is cached, which you can fix with IPCONFIG /FLUSHDNS.

    It could be that you have a hosts file entry for the other server.

    NSLOOKUP updated.

    ipconfig/ flushdns and registerdns already do this 9 to 10 times.

    host file no entry.

    Would you please double check the IP address for DAG and nodes in Failover Cluster Manager?

    Normally, we need put Exchange DAG member into maintenance mode, then change its IP address and reboot, at last put it from maintenance mode and move DA back to this server.
    Therefore, do you follow that way to change DAG network? If not, please follow above steps to achieve it.
