  • Hi,

I cannot tell from the above event message, but typically a volsnap event 8 is a timeout - which eludes to storage or server performance problem.

The flush and hold writes operation on volume %2 timed out while waiting for a release writes command.
This event is logged when 10 seconds have expired waiting for a RELEASE_WRITES IOCTL.
