    where do I find the windows 'disk management snap-in tool'?

    In Windows 10 Search box type mmc and hit Enter key.

    Under File of Console > Click Add/Remove Snap-in... > Select Disk Management under Available snap-ins > Click Add

    Besides the method that S.Sengupta mentioned, you could also right-click Start Menu button and select Computer Management.

    Then, you could see Disk Management snap-in tool and other Administrative Tools.
