vCenter Permissions Needed RRS feed

  • Hello,

    Our users have their VMware VMs grouped in folders where they have limited permissions within vSphere (Group Virtual Machine User).

    They cannot convert to Hyper-V using MVMC unless I increase the permissions on the folder to Virtual Machine Administrator.

    It fails when the wizard is at the drive conversion section.

    My question is:

    What is the actual priviledge needed to allow this without the sledgehammer of Administrator priviledges?
