    Hi
    When you enable media bypass the lync client uses G.711 over SRTP to connect directly to the sip trunk or equaivalant, but it is possible to get the client to use RTP in stead? The reason being the sip trunk provider supports RTP but not SRTP..

    Here are the different attributes.

    The level of encryption between Unified Communications entities.
    Valid values:
    SupportEncryption - secure real-time transport protocol (SRTP) will be used if it can be negotiated.
    RequireEncryption - SRTP must be negotiated.
    DoNotSupportEncryption - SRTP must not be used.
    This value is not case sensitive. (For details, see the Examples in this topic.)
    Default: RequireEncryption
