scanner uses path to folder to store scanned documents. path to old win2k server replaced with path to new win 2008 server. folder is shared by everyone. scanner does a connection test and 'fails to connect' . can do a run on windows machines to
\\servername\sharedfolder with out issue. scanner uses SMB for communication. Guess the failure is due to setup or tighter security in Windows 2008 server. Port 445 is open and smb services appear to be active. any suggestions?
