R SQL 2016 - sp_execute_external_script permission. Message The user does not have permission to perform this action. RRS feed

  • Dears,

I have used the SQL Server 2016 R with sysadmin user and have had no problems. But when I run the procedure "sp_execute_external_script" using a non-privileged user of sysadmin, I get the following message:

    "Msg 297, Level 16, State 101, Procedure sp_execute_external_script, Line 1 [Batch Start Line 0]
The user does not have permission to perform this action. "

To try to solve, I gave permission for this user to use this procedure, after creating the mask in the master, and SQL responds that I was successful:

"GRANT EXECUTE ON sp_execute_external_script TO user"
    Command (s) completed successfully.

Even so, when I try to execute the procedure with the user I gave permission, I can not, give the message that I do not have permission.

I already gave enable with the "sp_configure" also, but it did not solve:

    "sp_configure 'external scripts enabled', 1
    GO "
    Command(s) completed successfully.

I also thought it might be a problem with the DMV, but it also did not work:

    GO "
    Command (s) completed successfully.

    Can anyone help?
