Problems with Files Opening with Correct Format RRS feed

    Me and My friend were messing around with some mods on Minecraft, and suddenly he had to open this winrar file with java, and as soon as he did it, all of the files on his computer now open with jave which just opens a box and displays an error message as most programs can't be opened with java, currently looking for a solution but can't find one he has a windows vista computer

    Shift right click on the RAR-file and choose open with, and choose standard program such as Winrar or winzip.

    Hi,

    To change a file association:

    Go Start -> Default Programs

    Choose Associate a file type or protocol with a program

    Select your file extension and click Change program
