    Hi,

     

    I read some of the recommendations for the solution of the error KB938371.  I tried to install the update manually but I received a message after a couple of seconds after I click Open, Error 0x8007000d "the data is invalid"

    Download the appropriate stand-alone version (32 bit or 64) of the patch.

    unplug your network cable or modem cable

    BOOT INTO SAFE MODE

    Disable all Virus scanning programs

    Disable firewall

    disable windows defender

    install the patch and reboot INTO SAFE MODE.

     

    It "should" install correctly.

     

    re-enable your anti-virus and firewall/defender stuff and reconnect the lan cable/modem cable
