Importing new SSL cert but deleted original CSR
Question
-
To make a long story short:
While awaiting a new certificate signing from out CA (the people in charge of this dragged their feet), I accidentally deleted the Pending Request that contained the CSR for this cert.
I still have the txt output of the CSR, and I'm wondering if there's a way I can still complete this request without having to get a new cert.

You might be able to restore it following:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc759048(v=ws.10).aspx
But honestly, I would start from scratch and recreate the request.

If you already got the SSL certificate, then you can import it without any causes because the private key still resides on the server. Depending on the type of server that you may be running you can install the certificate.Tuesday, October 29, 2013 4:55 AM

Hi,
Now you can use the import-ExchangeCertificate command to complete the task.
Please refer to the link below:

Hi
Just create a new CSR and ask your CA to reissue the certificate - if they are any good they will do this instantly without charge.
