win xp to vista premium - first installation screen freezes RRS feed

    The first installation screen (where you're asked to choose a desired language and two more such preferences) doesn't even display a mouse cursor arrow... My keyboard doesn't do anything either.... PLEASE HELP.......................

    Could you provide more information.

     

    Which version of XP SP2 is installed on the system?

    Which version of Vista is being installed?

     

    What type of mouse and keyboard is being used?

     

    Are you using a upgrade disc or a full install disc?

    Are you booting from the disc or starting the installation from within XP?

     

    Do you see any error messages?
