EnableReordering on Get/Set-DnsServerForwarder does what? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi!

Just ran Get-DnsServerForwarder on all of my DCs and found out that EnableReordering was not consistent through out the domain. After enabled, ReorderedIPAddress is then populated.

Cannot find any info on what this thing does ?

    Thanks!

  • Hi Samus-Aran,

The DnsServerForwarder class has these properties.

    EnableReordering
    Data type: boolean
    Access type: Read/write
True to enable reordering of the forwarders; otherwise, false.

    ReorderedIPAddress
    Data type: string array
    Access type: Read-only
An array that contains the reordered IP addresses of the forwarder.
