Hi,
search for emails in mailbox using OWA doesn't work
My enveroinment is:
1 server A exch2k10 sp3 back-end MailboxRole
1 server B exch2k10 sp3 front-end Hub-Transport and ClientAccess
1 month ago i substitute ForeFront with Kasperky endpoint security 10 (KAV)-only file level modul- on FrontEnd and after some days on BackEnd
From same period of substitute on FrontEnd,more or less, search item using Owa doesn't work
I try to rebuild index
I try to disable KAV
Even viewer shows some time every day:
err 107 source: MSExchange Search Indexer
Exchange Search Indexer has temporarily disabled indexing of the Mailbox Database xxxxxxxxxxxxx
due to an error (Microsoft.Exchange.Msfte.BatchTimeoutException: Timeout detected for
batch Database Guid:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx; NumberOfFailedDocuments:0;
ShouldIsolateError: False; SubmitTickCount:370518250; BatchKind:Notifications; Number of entries:1).
I try
make new db
make new mailbox into db
rebuild CI
disable KAV
bu search items doesn't work
have anyone seen this issue before ?
every idea will be appreciated
Thanks in advance

some more details about rebuild CI of new db.
I disable property IndexEnabled of every database except new Db.
Get-MailboxDatabaseCopyStatus return:
NewDb Healthy
AllOtherDB Failed (i think taht with IndexEnabled False this result is normal)
the event viewer shows correctly event109
108
110
From eventviewer i see that index rebuilds in 30 seconds about.
Too fast ?
Perhaps, but the new Db has only 1 mailbox with 100 msg of simply test
In any case results is that:
1)search items doesn't work in OWA
2)dateTimeModified of Folder CI is not update and files in that folder are fixed size and static number
Thanks in advance

Hi Stefano,
From your description, I know that mailbox search feature not works after deploying Kasperky endpoint security 10.
If I mislead your concern, please feel free to let me know.Firstly, please double check the exclusions settings if you're deploying file-level scanners on Exchange 2010 servers, include Database content indexes. More details, please refer to:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb332342(v=exchg.141).aspxSecondly, to narrow down your issue, I want to double confirm:
1. Does this issue occur on database within DAG?
2. Is there any event message about Microsoft Exchange Information Store services?
3. Does problematic database mount or not?Based on the Event ID, it indicate that the Microsoft Exchange Search service has temporarily disabled indexing of the specified mailbox database due to the error stated in the warning message description.
If this issue remain exists, try below steps in below link to troubleshooting:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb123701(v=exchg.141).aspx
https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/pepeedu/2010/12/13/exchange-2010-database-copy-on-server-has-content-index-catalog-files-in-the-following-state-failed/
Note: If the server is part of a DAG, you can reseed the index (Catalog) by running the Update-MailboxDatabaseCopy with CatalogOnly parameter.Allen Wang

I never said problem is KAVmisconfiguration. I don't Know.
1. Does this issue occur on database within DAG ?
Database without DAG2. Is there any event message about Microsoft Exchange Information Store services ?
Nothing Event message about Microsoft Exchange Information Store service
3. Does problematic database mount or not ?
