Sync AD users to MIM RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

i manage to deploy MIM 2016 with no issues, now i want to sync AD users to MIM portal, i configured the MIMMA and the Inbound syncronization rule, and now i can see users synced to the MIM portal but not all attributes i configured are synced.

Also i configured the SSPR and install the extension on the users PC's but i can't configure the users to use SSPR.

  • Teka,

You need to give more background than this. It is almost like saying, come and do my job, thus no one has replied to you.

And, I suggest you read the TechNet docs before you attempt to implement it.

  • Thanks Nosh for the reply,

i already read the technet and applied what is there but i was asking for help on troubleshooting so if there is away to troubleshoot the setup and issue will be helpful.

    Thanks again

  • Ok, so you have attributes not synched.  What are those? Are you doing codeless synchronization or classic? Are the attributes in questions selected and mapped for import from AD and export to Portal.

  • Thanks Nosh,

i managed to sync the users to FIM portal with the required attributes, the issue was the attributes precedence now users can access the portal, i have another issue with SSPR it's only working with Basic authentication and not working with windows authentication i receive the below error when i open the SSPR registration portal with Windows Authentication:

Not Authorized    HTTP Error 401. The requested resource requires user authentication.

also one more thing when i try to open the site settings from the FIM portal, i got an error:

    Unable to process your request.
Please contact your help desk or system administrator.

i open the SharePoint and i found the account has full control but also have limited access assigned.
