decommission sharepoint 2013 farm

    Can anyone assist me with SharePoint 2013 farm decommissioning process to be followed after migration of site collections to SharePoint Online?

    if you migrated the content to the cloud, well, the on-premises content it isn't accessed anymore ( or not ? ;) )

    verify that all services, contents types, taxonomy are consummed from Online , and you don;t have a hybrid solution

    In this case , the SP servers could be stopped - Deppending on your farm topology if SP , you can stop alal WFEs, AppServers and DBs machines ( if your SQL servers contain other instances as well , these can't be stopped )

    The hardest method is to shutdown Eth interfaces on you LAN switches to  SP servers ( don't shutdown servers ). If your on-premises farm it isn't conssumed anymore, you will get not issues!

    Before you delete all servers data ( OS and applications ) keep in mind that just in case, it isn't a bad idea to keep the farm as a cold old backup
