Change the letters from lowercase to uppercase. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi to all.

I have a very simple question but i want to be ABSOLUTELY SURE before proceed.
We use an Exchange 2007. Almost all the emails is like this
    firstname.lastname@MYDOMAIN.GR

The exception is 3 email from the oldest employ in the company where after the @ the letters in lowercase
    firstname.lastname@mydomain.gr

I try to change the letters from EMC -> Mailbox -> "Specific user" -> Properties.
If i change only the letters from lowercase to uppercase they did not do anything. I have to change at least 1 letter to accept the changes.

Is safe this or i will face issues???

    Example

    Now              firstname.lastname@mydomain.gr
    First change  firstname.lastname@mydomain.gr1
    Final change  firstname.lastname@MYDOMAIN.GR

    Thanks for your time!!!!!

  • Well, you're doing it backward from the way I'd do it.  I'd put them all in lower case since that is the convention, i.e., you have three correct ones and the rest are wrong.

What you're doing should be safe, but I'd change the local part (the part to the left of the at symbol) rather than the domain.
