Issues with Vista gaming RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Toshiba P105-S6227 which came with Vista Home installed. I have 1GB RAM, GeForce Go 7600 video card and a dual core processor so i shouldn't have any problems with anything. However, I've noticed some skipping in my games after a little while of playing. Lowering the graphics to minimum settings doesn't seem to affect it.

Has anyone had this issue or know what can be done to fix it? Is it a matter of OS Optimization? More RAM? Nvidia drivers that we're still waiting for? Could it be the sound drivers? Thanks in advance and all help is much appreciated!

  • No.  2 GB is enough. Can you tell what other software do you have on your computer? Some antivirus programs can slow the computer a lot. Also, have you tried to update the graphic drivers and DirectX 9?
