  • I have exchange server 2007.  I have an student information system that can send emails to my exchange server.  I have the receive connector setup for this but users outside the domain are not getting the emails.  I need the student information system to generate the email send it to exchange and have exchange send it outside the domain.  How do I set this up?

  • Is the IP of the student info system added to the exchange and is open to relay for that particular IP? Can you try to track the Email address from mesaage tracking?

    Any AV which can create problems?

  • Exchange Server 2007 allows authenticated relaying by default. So if your application server or device can authenticate, that's the way to go. This means: create a mailbox with a password and have your student information system use this mailbox for relaying.
