  • Hi robin,

Co-existing MOSS 2007 and SharePoint 2013 on the same server will put your SharePoint environment in a un-supported state, there may will be many unexpected errors and potential risks, here is an article about co-existing SP2010 and SP2007 on the same dev server with occuring errors, so I do not recommand you install SP 2007 and SP 2013 on the same server even for proof of concept trials.

I would suggest you build SharePoint 2010 and 2013 on other new servers, then migrate SP2007 to SP 2010 then SP2013 with database-attach method per the following official article, please fully test in a test environment before migrating your production.

  • Hi Robin,

you cannot install MOSS 2007 and SharePoint 2013 on the same server.

If you are looking for direct migration from MOSS 2007 to SharePoint 2013 then you can use third party tools like Avepoint, axceller.
