Deploy Endpoint Protection 2012 SP1 to Mac client RRS feed

  • Question

  • How do I deploy the Endpoint Protection 2012 SP1 client for Mac OS X?  We already have a way to push out the Configuration Manager 2012 SP1 client to Macs, but shouldn't there be an automated way to deploy the Endpoint Protection client also through SCCM?  It works great to deploy on Windows but obviously it isn't that streamlined on the Mac.  Must I create a package in the Configuration Manager Console and then deploy it from there?  That is the only thing I can come up with.  There doesn't appear to be any documentation on this at all except for manual installation which is not useful when you have to deploy it to thousands of clients.  Thanks.

yup, as far as I can tell that's the way to do it for Linux and Mac clients, have you tried it yet ?
