Multiple SIP trunk- use only Primary trunk unless down RRS feed

    Have a setup with 2 SIP trunks, each to their respective SBC, that are both used by the same SFB Pool.  The PSTN Usage and Routes and Dial plan all work with either trunk.  currently both Trunks\SBCs are listed on the routes.

    Want to have all calls route thru one of them as a primary all the time, unless that trunk\SBC is down, then the secondary is to be used.  Do not want the secondary used except during failed Primary.

    Want automatic failover.

    I know it is probably something simple but I am not seeing how to accomplish this.

    Would you please tell us did you want to configure high availability for session border controller?

    If it is your issue, you could configure the high availability for session border controller with the steps mentioned in the following article
