  • Question

  • Hi All,

In terms of creating SharePoint User Group, what is the best practice. Should all the User Groups, including custom group be only created in the root site or can they also be created in the sub sites as well?

    thanks for your feedback!

  • If you create the group in sub site/root site, that group will be available in both places and its default behavior.

So you can create the groups either in site/subsite.
