Sorry you can't add that to your current account error message RRS feed

  • Question

  • My customer tried to provision a Project Online trial and got an error message stating that he could not add that to his current account.  They already have a O365 tenant created but the customer would like to trial Project Online for O365. Is there a solution to this error message?

    Thanks

  • Joe,

Currently there is no public trial available for Project Online. You will need to go to a partner led trial available from these vendors.

  • This happens for several reasons.

First, only a partner can add a trial but usually he wouldn't even see a link for that, so we need more info really.

Second, because there can be a mismatch between license types between his tenant and his trial.

If you (assuming you are the partner) is trying to create a trial of say type Government inside a tenant of type Commerical, there will be a clash.

You may also be trying to add the trial to an educational tenant.

This generally happens if there is a mismatch in license types.

    Good luck

  • Joe:

You do need an E tenant to provision this. None of the Small business series will work. As Ryan mentions, there are other causes of license type mismatches.
