ACT Client issues RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello, I'm unsure where to direct my question, so please point me in the right direction...

I've created and distributed a DCP to about 90 clients in my environment via SCCM.  In the folder in which I've created the DCP, there are hundreds of '.xml.cab' files, which leads me to believe that the DCP is collecting data as planned.  However, when I open the Application Compatibility Manager, the data does not show up.  Now, I must say that I have created a DCP previously, and it worked like a champ; I sent it out to the clients, and the next day, PRESTO! the application data showed up.  I'm wondering if there's a step I missed this time.  Any help would be appreciated.

  • I've found that there is a logging service that needs to be running in order for the host machine to compile the data.  While the service is set to 'automatic', I found that it wasn't running.  Once I started the service, it started running like a champ! ;)  The service is called, ACTLogProcessor.
