USERS OUTSIDE THE NETWORK USING OUTLOOK ANYWHERE OR OWA DO NOT GET NOTIFICATION TO CHANGE THEIR PASSWORDS

Question
-
Hello all. My client has Windows 2008 SP2 and Exchange 2007 SP3. They only have the single Exchange, not a front-end back-end config. Users physically outside the network using OWA or Outlook Anywhere do not get the notifications 14 days before their password expiration to go in and change it. Of course this also means that they do not get the message that their password has expired and they need to change it.
What ends up happening is help desk gets a call that they cannot log in and we have to change the password manually and have them change it again in OWA Options.
How do I get this to notify the users?

Most of the suggestions have been to re-create the OWA virtual directories. I would give it a shot, re-creating the vdires is innocuous just schedule a maintenance to perform.
