Exchange 2016 - MFA and ATA Deployment

    Question

  • Dears,

We are working on a solution for a customer having an server running in exchange 2010 and it needs to be migrated to migrate it to Exchange 2016.

The solution would have 2 AD servers and 2 Exchange server in the main data center, while DR hosts 1 AD server and 1 Exchange server.

All servers are configured in DAG and synced through replication link between the two data centers. Currently all Exchange server roles are hosted in the same server, while AD directory service (Print, DNS, WSUS, DHCP, etc.) are distributed/shared among the 2 server.

The following features are requested by customer in the new exchange setup - Configure exchange features (OWA, OAW, SMTP, POP, OAB, Autodiscover and ActiveSync) on new servers.

    - Configure and deploy MS Multi Factor Authentication- on-premise MFA server with IIS authentication for on-premises IIS Web application - configure MFA with Exchange 2016 for the licensed users.

    - Configure Microsoft ATA (Advanced Threat Analysis) where we need to activate Microsoft ATA and deploy on-premises ATA server.

Can you please advise how the above can be done and what are the prerequisites and requirements for the successful deployment ?

    Thanks
