Polycom CX600 problem with VLAN tagging

Question
-
Using Polycom CX600
We have only one network port per workstation so the PC will be plugged into the phone. In this configuration, are there any issues if the voice and data traffic are on separate VLANs? In other words the computer is on a separate VLAN from the phone, yet the computer's traffic is "passing-through" the phone?

Assuming your switch is configured correctly, there is no issue having the PC and the phone on different VLANs even when they share the same network port.

There's no functional reason why it wouldn't work.
Keep in mind the troubleshooting tips for LLDP and VLAN, however: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg398557.aspx

Hi,Japheth,
If you configured the Vlan and DHCP setting correctly for your Lync Desk phone, also the valn access configuration on your switch,it should work regardless wheter they use different network port or share the same one.
Some useful information about manual vlan configration for Lync phone edition for your reference.
