Answers

  • Two options:

    1. Install Microsoft Security Essentials.  It is free and works very well.  Small footprint and doesn't have many issues.
    2. Visit the Kaspersky support site and submit a service request.

  • Hi,

I would like to verify if other programs installation failed due to Windows Installer error?

After my research, I find the problematic DLL file should be related to Kaspersky. I suggest running removal tool in Safe Mode.
