Hi JK,
The ransomware is identified as "WannaCry" and is targeting a Windows Server Message Block (SMB) flaw that was addressed with Microsoft's March MS17-010 "critical" security bulletin release.
This security update resolves vulnerabilities in Microsoft Windows. The most severe of the vulnerabilities could allow remote code execution if an attacker sends specially crafted messages to a Microsoft Server Message Block 1.0 (SMBv1) server.
Here is the downloading link to the MS17-010 security update:

In addition, you could install the latest updates
since each month's rollup will supersede the previous month's rollup.
Best Regards,
Candy
