  • Question

  • We are configuring a new Emergency Commmunications/Command Trailer for our city.  It looks like lync might be the best way to integrate our computer/phone/video-conferencing/wifi/cell phone applications.  Someone able to give me advice on where to look for assistance please.

  • I don't know if there is going to be a single resource for what you are describing since it is very unique. I think you are correct that Lync could be the core of command trailer infrastructure but I think you will need to augment Lync with MS Partner solutions. For example:

In addition if you have existing 3rd party video conferencing or need to integrate with other systems you'll need to consider video gateways. I would suggest reaching out to MS directly. If the City of Tyler does not have a direct relationship with MS I imagine that they will have contacts with Dallas which almost certainly will have a direct relationship. In addition you could reach out directly to the MS Dallas office.
