Looking for a Mobile Device Management solution that integrates well with UAG/Activesync RRS feed

  • Question

  • Last year I upgraded from IAG to UAG and enable an ActiveSync trunk. ActiveSync works great and my User population has tripled. However with Exchange 2003 the management of these devices is very limited. Does anyone have any experience with an MDM solution that integrates well with UAG and Exchange 2003. My goal is to get to Exchange 2010 by the end of 2012.

  • I am not sure what are your exact requirements, but controlling the devices that can connect + other cotent filtering options and access control options can be achieved using the ActiveSync Protector - see here :

  • DeviceMax MDM, applies to both company-owned and employee-owned devices across the enterprise or mobile devices owned by consumers. MDM enables organisations to track their assets using GPS; enforce usage policies; apply over-the-air software and application updates; support end-users with remote-controls; and secure data using functions such as 'power on password', application lockdown, and remote lock/ wipe.

  • I would also look at AirWatch. They have some good options for integrating with MS solutions...
