2013 Customizing Client Reports RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I there a way how to use the existing reports as template and then create new ones based on the existing ones?

    yes, you can use the Organizer to copy existing reports and rename them. They will show up in ribbon at Report/Custom afterwards.

  • Of course.

    Goto Report, Reports, Custom and see a full list of reports, then select one and click edit to see how it is defined.

    Get one that's already close to what you want and copy it and give the copy a distinctive name. I start mine with "AA..." then the name to make mine go to the top of the list and so that I can find it again. I try to leave the built-in reports pretty much as original as possible, and make all changes in the copies only.
