  • Hi All,

    I am trying to setup sccm2012 in a test lab and I am getting the following error near the end of the installation

    error log: ERROR: Failed to determine the current user display name, error = 1332. Setting display name to null.  $$<Configuration Manager Setup><12-29-2012 04:01:01.555+300><thread=2912 (0xB60)>

    When I check readyness, I get the usual Schema warning , but is allowed to continue. Any assistance for a fix would be highly appreciated.

    My system is running on: w2k8R2+sp1, SQl2008R2 RTM +SP1+CU6, .NET4, CoNfigMgr 2012 RTM, WUS3.0+SP2 on a single vm server.

    PS. the followimg error msg shows up on the installation page:

    Setup has encountered fatal errors during database initialization. Check the log for details. click the log view button for more information.

  • The Schema warning is unrelated to the error you are getting.

    1332 = No mapping between account names and security IDs was done.

    By the sound of the error, you might have an AD or a server issue. Did you recently have the server re-join the domain? Are you having AD replication issues? Is the server a VM that was recently reverted?
