Project Server 2013 Exchange 2010/2013 Integration RRS feed

  • Question

  • When implementing the Exchange Integration with Project Server 2013, Exchange 2013 is required in order to use the full set of Integration Features:

    - Server to Server Open Authorization (OAuth) standard
    - Connections between SharePoint Server 2013, Exchange Server 2013, and Lync Server
    - Task data integrated in to "All My Work in One Place"

Question is, does it require the Exchange Mailbox to be on an Exchange 2013 Mailbox Server or are those Features already available in Exchange Coexistence 2013/2010 when the Exchange Client Access Server is on Exchange 2013 while the maibox still resides on an Exchange 2010 Mailbox Server ?

Thanks for the Feedback in advance

  • Hello,

I have not had enough time to test this but following the instruction on the Microsoft website:

    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj552524 (office.15). aspx

Configuring Exchange Mail Box tells you is necessary because SharePoint Server 2013 uses this feature to provide users greater interaction between staff present on a site via email.

    I hope I helped.
