How to start Media Player 11 in ghastly Windows Vista RRS feed

  • Question

  • Since "upgrading" to Media Player 11 under the truly ghastly Windows Vista, I can no longer find a shortcut or a menu item to start it. It will start when I click on a "media" file but I want to have control over when I start it - it is not acceptabvle for the OS only to be able to start it. How do I get it back on the menu bar or create a shortcut for the desktop ?

Windows Vista is the most ghastly operating system ever inflicted on the long-suffering computer using public.

  • calm down. create a new shortcut on the desktop with this target:

    "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\wmplayer.exe"

and name it Windows Media Player
