TimeSpan in CSOM RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I am developing an App for Project 2013 using OAuth for the connection and CSOM to access data of the project Instance.

I have been able to get the Resources and Assignments of the project open by the user but haven't been able to get a timespan of each assignment (How many hours each Resource is assigned per day).

I haven't found much help in the CSOM SDK as they aren't many examples.

I know there is a TimeSpan class in the Microsoft.ProjectServer.Client but don't know how to use it.

With OData you can access these data calling /Resources/TimephasedInfoDataSet, how can I do it in CSOM ?

    Thanks in advance,

  • Hi Thomax, I think the link below will be useful to you.

Client-side object model (CSOM) for Project Server 2013:

By the way, I couldn't find TimeSpan class in Microsoft.ProjectServer.Client namespace, do you mean "TimePhase"?

  • Oops my bad, I meant TimePhase.

I know the link you have sent me, but there aren't any examples treating Resources or TimePhases.

I have been able to get the resources and Assignments but can't get them by day.

I know it is pretty easy to do with REST but I don't know about CSOM and the documentation is thin.

Any example on how to achieve it ?
