SCCM UPGRADE 1710 DOWNLOAD PROBLEM

    Question

  • Hi.

I'm upgrading SCCM from 1706 to 1710 in out LAB environment, before upgrading PRO.

The upgrade is apparently done, as I can see in dmpdownload.log

"Successfully write the update meta into outbox for package cf9f7ac7-0b01-4781-bc80-246023ca6548"

    "EasySetupDownloadSinglePackage finishes downloading cf9f7ac7-0b01-4781-bc80-246023ca6548."

In the folder EasySetupPayload I can see the .cab wich has a size about 685mb; and a folder with the same name of the .cab wich a size of about 1,14gb.

But in Monitoring the status of the upgrade is still "In progress"; and righcliking the update in Updates and Servicing

    Antivirus SEP is disabled.

    What else can I check?

    Thanks.

  • What is shown if you right-click on the update in the Updates and Servicing Status node and choose Show Status?

  • Hi,

As Jason pointed out, you can follow the download in Dmpdownloader.log or by going to Monitoring / Updates and Servicing Status, right-click your Update Name and select Show Status.  See https://www.systemcenterdudes.com/step-by-step-sccm-1710-upgrade-guide/

    Best Regards,

  • Appears again: "Available to download"

    Also I did CMUpdateReset.exe -FDELETE -s mydomain.domain.com -D CM_xxx -P cf9f7ac7-0b01-4781-bc80-246023ca6548

    Nothing changes

  • What never ends?

What exactly does the Show Status dialog show?
