    Microsoft has maliciously destroyed all my old documents with its Creators Update. Why?

    Hi,

    I'm afraid what you mentioned is wrong. Windows Update should not remove/delete your documents.
    Please explain the more details about what you did.

    Hi Phil,

    Is there any error message when the problem occurs?
    Does this issue only affect Word?
    What's the build number of your Office applications?

    Please try to check for and install all the available updates for Office via File > Account > Update Options > Update Now and see if there will be any improvement.
