MDT 8450 - Trouble Deploying Latitude 3490

    Question

  • Dell Latitude 3490 seems different than the rest. Normally I change UEFI boot to Legacy, however, on this model the only legacy boot option is "Legacy External Device" which gives me the option to boot into the NIC. Every thing goes as expected where I boot into MDT, select my task sequence, etc. The problem occurs when it is done deploying and applying DISM.exe and reboots itself...instead of booting into the OS, it reboots itself back into the NIC and says "No boot device found. Press any key to reboot" and will go in that cycle forever. BIOS recognizes the 256 m.2 SSD, but the boot option order does not give that option. Only Diskette Drive, CD ROM, USB, Onboard NIC. Task sequence completes with no errors as well. Any ideas? I've tried to leave UEFI boot, secur boot off with UEFI network stack on, but it boots straight into support assist.
