DFS share error on opening any file RRS feed

    I have a strange issue, wherein some user mapped using the DFS share gets error on opening any file. i.e word, pdf, xls and even txt file. However this is just with some set of users.

    The permission everything is perfect, but when the user are mapped directly to the server, there is no issue.anyone has any idea what could be the issue here?

    Hi,

    If there are more than 1 referral targets, check if the users are connected to a server which is different as others.

    Also test to access to all referral targets with \\servername to see if all targets are working fine.

    In addition, test to logon a different user on the same computer (or use the same user on a different computer) to see if it is account/computer specific issue.
