    Hello!

     

    Can anyone help me? I have tried to install new HP printer drivers, that seemed to fail to finish, so I shutted down the process. From that time on, the spooler service always shuts down, if started it runs for 10 secs. Normal server restart does not help, configure your server wizard shows, printer server role NOT installed, role cannot be added (again), my shared printers does not displays, new printers cannot be added.

    "If the Print Spooler service fails when printing, when Windows starts or it can not be restarted, the usual reason is that one or more printer drivers is defective.

    Szia Feri! Köszi a segítséget és a linket!

     

    Thanks for the link you have provided. Although it did not help by itself, the link to the knowledge base was necessary to the complete solution. I assume, my installation (made from a legal HP driver CD) was freezed just at the beginning of the process, so I could have no chance to remove any new driver, instead I think I aborted the installation process at an incosistence state of printing and spooling ability of the DC.

    As a summary I have to tell that a system state restore (in DSRM mode), (that restores the whole registry) was not enough for the success. I have to remove the correspondent files from the spool's subfolders in system32 as well.

    Én egy kérdésre úgy válaszolok, ahogy feltették, persze, ha tudok.

    Pl. egy német nyelvű rendszerrel kapcsolatos linket - ami a részletes leírást tartalmazza - ekkor nyilván németül adom meg, ha fellelhető.

    Ugyanakkor a magyarul feltett kérdésekre zömmel csak angol nyelvű linket, leírást lehet adni, mert magyarul nincsen.

    Én teljesen új vagyok itt, de a gui az oldalon angol, és gondoltam hogy angolul többen beszélnek, mint magyarul. Viszont cserébe egy olyan szerveren kellett dolgoznom, ahol azt írja, hogy: Nyomtatásisor-kezelő, meg hogy Elnindítva ahelyett, hogy az mondaná: Print Spooler és hogy Started. Az is nagyon utálatos, hogy tartományfelhasználó, meg hogy kiszolgálófelelős....

    Akkor még nem volt "szerencséd" német, héber, arab Windows-ok hibaelhárításához.

    Egy német nyelvű XP-hez volt már. Fél vakon csináltam, pl. egy jobb gomb - properties legtöbbünk kezében benne van. Volt egy japán windowshoz is szerencsém, ott már fordítottak. A Németnél elég volt a saját laptopom mellé.

     

    Azért egy japán szervernél nem vállalkoznék arra, hogy megmondjam, melyik a logoff és melyik a restart. És hát nem mindegy...
