    Question

  • Hi My primary partition size is 100 GB and its almost 95 GB full. 

    I need to delete temporary files related to windows. please guide me what files wrt windows can be deleted like temp, prefetch.

     You can perform defragmentation for this server,and also you can extend the disc size.Do not delete anything manually on a DC.

  • You can check on the profiles size and which ones could be removed first.

    You can also run disk cleanup utility and see what it proposed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disk_Cleanup

  • Hi,
    As Burak said, please take care to delete anything on domain controller, however, you could move some files to another drive, such as page file and ntuninstall files, and you could also check for c:\windows\memory.dmp and c:\documents and settings folder to see if any files are also be moved out.
