  • How did you determine that you have installed the client successfully at all?
The client has to send heartbeat to the management point (which must be functioning) in order to flip client no to yes.

    I have checked C:\windows\ccmsetup\logs\ccmsetup.log

CcmSetup is exiting with return code 0

Is the possible to check another log or something like that to ensure that client is working?

  • ClientLocation.log, locationservices.log, ccmmessaging.log.

  • Just because the client installs successfully does not mean or imply that it can actually communicate successfully with the site. Check the logs that Torsten noted to help find out why they aren't.

  • Dear Sir,

I found your another post below which may be with the same problem.

    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/5c1a5823-5868-480a-9768-2a52eb20949f/computers-objects-dublicates-in-collections-sccm-2012?forum=configmanagergeneral

If so, I would like to merge the two so that it will easy to check and follow.

    Best regards

    Frank

  • Check the logs as Torsten suggests. Are the clients in a defined boundary? Are they workgroup clients?

  • you can check few things as well:

    - config mgr shortcut is in control panel on any of those computers.

    - Check if MP is showing in the Config Mgr properties

    - Check if the Site code is showing in the Config Mgr.

If for some reasons, computer are not getting the correct GPO, they will not be able to get the correct MP from the domain.

    Hope it helps.

  • Thanks for response and Hello :)

Our infrastructure configured 3 discovery methods, in this case just one “Important” – Active Directory System Discovery.

But in this “OU” on which working “System Discovery” - not exist these 10 computers which I Have imported manually.

So, after importation of computer’s , I added them to collection and made client push install.

Duplicates appeared after client installation for these computers. Example:

Here it is one computer with two records:

    On these PC's records:

    and :

And these settings (records) shoud be treatead and merged to  one record by this SCCM functionality. :

It’s system problem? I found topic of “workaround” but in natural way? – this functionality not working? Why they appeared?

  • Also, i found record on SCCM database, that this PC have just one Hardware ID. I think this is system problem.

Something wrong, related with SCCM object merging.
